It is about a mile or so paddle on the river as it cuts through a lava flow and winds pasts wide open meadows with sweeping views of the Cascasdes. The current on the river in the area is very similar to the amount of current we have running through Bend, certainly easy enough for adult beginners and teens that already know how to paddle.
